Six Figure Income – How To Create A Six Figure Income

We all know people or are people who earn a six figure income, infact it might even be you.  These successful people  have one thing in common more than anything else – they do not get the time or have the energy to enjoy the money they earn.  The bottom line is that when you earn 6 figures working for someone other than yourself, they believe they own the rights to your life 24/7.  The overtime, weekend working, disturbed holidays are all a part of earning ‘big money’ and the personal cost is often far higher than the rewards.  In signing that golden contract the rights to your life are effectively signed away.

People invest years of their lives getting to the top of the corporate ladder.  Once there, they sit on a perch looking back down feeling worn out and exhausted, they are so mentally and emotionally drained they lack the energy or vision to seek a way out.  What was all the effort for?  They see the effort they expended in getting to the top and they resolve to hang on and reap their  ‘rewards’.  A six figure income is a golden handcuff.  By the time this level of career is achieved there are the usual financial obligations to be fulfilled, big mortgage, 2 cars, kids to support, foreign holidays.  The mere thought of losing any of this is enough to keep most people’s nose to the grindstone for the rest of their lives.  These very things people work so hard for they often do not have the time or energy to enjoy them.  Feelings of being trapped, resentment and boredom begin to set in and one day they maybe remember that they used to have dreams of adventure and travel, they used to have hobbies, used to have fun and enjoy getting out of bed on a morning – and they ask what happened?  They got lured on the corporate treadmill with the promise of money and status and recognition and by the time they saw this for what it is, a hollow soul consuming monster like the dementors in Harry Potter they feel it is too late to turn back. The trap was set and they walked willingly right into it.

With the age of the internet people no longer need to be working the traditional 9 to 5, in fact they can work hours to suit themselves and by leveraging the power of the internet can work fewer hours.  The internet is a global market there are 150 english speaking countries with people searching online 24/7– it’s all about leverage. Think of this in practical terms too, a traditional bricks and mortar business needs premises, stock, staff, insurance.  A business that is run online from a home office needs a computer and cell phone. 

You need to begin to work on your mindset and think beyond the prison like confines of your current situation.  Commit to reading books that expand your mindset and begin to think like an entrepreneur.  Think & Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, The Traveller by Andy Andrews, Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki are all good to start with.  Stop reading the novels and spend time on self development.  Write down on paper your dreams and goals do this in detail, even make a dream board.  Begin to surround yourself with people who foster the same ideals and thoughts as you.  If you are constantly surrounded with negative moaners and dream stealers then you will adopt these thoughts as your own, get rid of these people from your life.  Begin to mix with successful positive high energy people who you would like to be like, adopt their habits and then guess what?   You will begin to be like them, their success begins to rub off onto you.  It works like the magic fairy dust from Tinkerbell in Peter Pan.  Finding a community of like minded entrepreneurs where you can network and meet others is an absolute must. Entrepreneurs are people who naturally like to share and help others, they understand the universal laws of giving before receiving.  If you can give without want you will receive back 10 fold, so by creating success in others you create even more success for yourself.

I soon realised that there are several elements common to successful online businesses and legitimate home businesses and once these are in place there are no limits. There needs to be an integrated online sales and marketing system which leverages the power of the internet; a proven legitimate business model  with low overheads and high profitability; a dynamic internet marketing education platform which teaches marketing to all levels; a support community of like minded entrepreneurs who interact and share and connect on a regular basis.   When these variables are in place the potential for 6 and even 7 figure earnings exists for anyone who is prepared to step up and take action. If the system is proven to work, the education and support is in place the only other variable is YOU and YOU are the one with complete control of this.

I had no prior experience of internet marketing but I learned quickly and people were willing and happy to help me.  This online community of entrepreneurs were happy to share with me and show me how to do things. I now have the time to enjoy a quality of life I previously denied myself.  I can earn 6 figures just by working just 5 or 6 hours a day from home.   I now live my life on my terms, I am successful, I am happy and I get to spend my days helping others to achieve their dreams.  I spend time at home with my 7 year old daughter, I take her to school and collect her and enjoy the vacations with her.  I have got the most valuable commodity in the world – TIME to do the things that are important to me.

Are you reading this wearing your 6 figure income handcuffs?  Is your desire to change your life and is this desire strong enough?  If it is then you have to take action – this does require work and effort on your part.   Just sitting and wishing and doing ‘nothing’ means precisely ‘nothing’ will happen.  However, if you get up and do ‘something’ and take action, then universal law dictates that action will be met with action and magic begins to happen.
