Spring – The Time For Creation & Change

I love springtime & all that it signfies for life.

After the long cold, dark winter months where just surviving, keeping warm and hibernation are the order of the day, springtime is the breath of life and air that wakes us, shakes us and kicks ass to get us moving again.  It's as if the beautiful bright vivid colours of spring flowers were designed to inspire and wake our senses from the deep slumber of winter. To get us creating and thinking all refreshed, renewed and ready to go.

The metaphor for my life is that the 'death' of autumn and the deep slumber of winter the new start that spring brings heralds a new and clean start.  I spring clean my home my life and business.  I clear out the old outdated projects and ideas that no longer serve me,  I create new ones with a great energy and verve for life and have a feeling of anticipation and excitement wondering how they will evolve.

Natural laws work in cycles and patterns that bring with it a degree of predictability and by observing nature and working with it we live in harmony.  By fighting it and trying to change what we cannot & should not, we only bring disharmony and hardship to our lives. We need to live within these laws and go with the natural flow.

Spring time is the natural incubation period for creating something new so that by summer it can be in full bloom ready for a harvest in autumn.  It is the busiest time of year in my industry because people instinctively look to make positive changes to make their lives better and richer and also so that when the summer comes along they can enjoy it and bask in the warmth of the sun before reaping the harvest in autumn.  Taking the decision to move forwards in a new direction is easier with the promise of warmth and good times ahead.

So, if you are waking from your slumber and feeling inspired then move with the flow of nature (you cannot fight it) and go to where you need to be…..
